Booking Policy

At Barkaburra, we aim to provide a calm, safe, and comfortable grooming experience for every pet.

Appointment Requirements

Please ensure your pet is available and ready at the scheduled appointment time.

Coat Condition & Additional Charges

Pricing may vary depending on coat condition, matting, behaviour, size, and grooming time required. Additional charges may apply for severely matted coats or extra handling requirements.

Fleas & Ticks

If fleas or ticks are discovered during the grooming appointment, additional cleaning and treatment fees may apply to maintain hygiene and safety standards.

Safety & Behaviour

The safety and wellbeing of both pets and groomers will always remain our highest priority. If a pet displays behaviour that is aggressive, unsafe, or causes a significant risk during the grooming process, Barkaburra reserves the right to stop or refuse the service at any time. In these situations, a minimum service fee may still apply to cover travel time, appointment allocation, and handling.

Senior & Anxious Pets

We always do our best to provide a gentle and stress-free experience. Grooming older or anxious pets may require additional time and care.

Arrival & Access

As a mobile grooming service, safe and suitable parking access near the property is required for all appointments. Access to a standard power outlet and water connection may also be required depending on the grooming setup and services booked.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change.

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or appointment changes.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation fee, especially during busy periods.

Barkaburra reserves the right to refuse future bookings in cases of repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations.

  • All pets must be fit and healthy enough for grooming.
  • Barkaburra will always prioritise the safety and wellbeing of pets during appointments.
  • Grooming results may vary depending on coat condition, behaviour, and maintenance history.
  • Barkaburra is not responsible for pre-existing health conditions or issues discovered during grooming.
  • Payment is required upon completion of the grooming service unless otherwise arranged.
  • Barkaburra reserves the right to refuse service when necessary for safety reasons.
